Clinical Supervision for Colorado LPCC Candidates

Supervision Philosophy
I approach supervision as both a clinical responsibility and a relational art. My work is holistic, intuitive, and grounded in ethical rigor — honoring the wisdom of the nervous system alongside evidence-based practice and professional standards.

Supervision with me is not about molding you into a particular kind of therapist, but about supporting you in becoming more fully yourself: clinically competent, ethically attuned, self-aware, and sustainably resourced. We work at the intersection of mind, body, relationship, and meaning — holding curiosity, accountability, and compassion as core values.

Hello — and welcome.

If you are a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC) in Colorado seeking supervision that feels professionally rigorous, holistic, and deeply human, you’re in the right place.

As a Colorado DORA-approved clinical supervisor, I offer supervision as a grounded, relational, and reflective container—one that supports your licensure requirements and honors the inner work of becoming the therapist you are meant to be. I hold supervision as a sacred professional relationship: a space where clinical skill, ethical responsibility, self-awareness, and nervous system attunement are all welcome.

My Supervision Approach

Supervision with me invites you to slow down and listen more closely—to your clinical instincts, your questions, your body, and your values. Together, we explore the full picture of your work: case conceptualization, ethical decision-making, clinical interventions, relational dynamics, countertransference, professional identity development, and sustainability in practice.

I believe who you are in the room matters just as much as what you do. Our work is collaborative, non-performative, and oriented toward clarity, confidence, and integrity. This is a space to think out loud, refine your clinical voice, and grow into your authority as a therapist without rushing or self-abandonment.

I especially enjoy supporting early-career clinicians who are clarifying their niche, integrating somatic and trauma-informed perspectives, and shaping practices that feel aligned, ethical, and sustainable over the long term.

DORA-Compliant Supervision Structure

All supervision is provided in accordance with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) requirements for LPCC licensure.

Supervision includes:

  • Clinical oversight and case consultation

  • Ethical guidance and professional development

  • Attention to scope of practice and standards of care

  • Ongoing evaluation of clinical competence

  • Documentation of supervision hours toward licensure

Both individual and group supervision meet DORA requirements. Supervision hours, format, frequency, and documentation are structured to support your successful progression toward independent licensure.

Supervision Formats & Fees

Individual Supervision

  • Standard rate: $175 per 60-minute session

  • Sliding scale available: $125–$225 per session, based on need and circumstances

Group Supervision

  • Small, intentional groups (minimum of 3, max of 6 supervisees)

  • Rate: $85–$100 per person per session, depending on group size and duration

Group supervision spaces are thoughtfully facilitated to ensure depth, safety, and meaningful clinical engagement for all participants.

Is Supervision With Me a Fit?

Supervision with me may be a strong fit if you:

  • Are actively working toward LPCC licensure in Colorado and seeking DORA-compliant supervision

  • Value reflective, relational, and ethically grounded clinical work

  • Are open to self-inquiry, feedback, and ongoing professional growth

  • Want a supervision space that supports both clinical competence, space for holistic inquiry and development, and personal sustainability

  • Are willing to engage consistently and take responsibility for your licensure requirements

This may not be the best fit if you are looking for highly prescriptive supervision, crisis-only consultation, or a primarily administrative check-the-box approach to licensure hours.

Frequency & Structure Expectations

To meet Colorado DORA requirements, supervision is typically held:

  • Weekly or biweekly, depending on your clinical hours, work setting, and stage of licensure

  • In 60-minute individual sessions or 90-minute group sessions

The exact frequency and format are collaboratively determined at the outset of supervision and reviewed periodically to ensure alignment with DORA standards and your professional development needs. Consistency and continuity are essential components of effective supervision and are expected in this container.
