Women’s Holistic Pelvic Care™ and Sexual Wellness Coaching

Holistic Pelvic Care™ is a combination of physical and energetic tools developed by Tami Kent, M.S., Women’s Physical Therapist.
It is beneficial for women of all ages, addressing issues such as pelvic congestion, ovarian cysts, menstrual pain, decreased desire, difficulty with orgasm, pain during sex, (vaginismus, dyspareunia), urinary and/or anal leakage, chronic bladder or vaginal infections, uterine prolapse, and birth trauma. Holistic Pelvic Care can also address issues related to a history of pelvic trauma (including non-pelvic surgeries, falls, miscarriage, abortion) or sexual abuse, perimenopause, menopause, postpartum recovery, and healing after pregnancy or preparing for pregnancy.

Using a combination of abdominal and non-sexual intervaginal massage, energy healing, mindfulfness, breathwork, and sexual wellness coaching facilitates healing of pelvic issues and a deeper with your femininity and the well-being of your body. This work restores the energetic and physical vitality of your pelvic bowl, and restores your creativity and financial flow, sexual health, vitality and confidence.

Our first session together will be longer than the follow-up sessions (approximately 90 minutes). We will discuss your history, what issues are causing you to seek treatment with me at this time, your goals and we’ll also spend time discussing female anatomy muscles and fascia with you, what this work entails, and create a treatment plan for our work together. Although questions and concerns are welcome throughout our work together, the initial session is a great opportunity to discuss any questions or concerns you may have before we begin working together.

It’s important for you to know that before any internal vaginal massage takes place, we may do external work in the form of consent (what is consent, how does it feel in your body?), abdominal massage, craniosacral work, energy healing, breathwork and mindfulness exercises. When internal vaginal massage is indicated, I will always check in with you before moving on to internal work, including internal vaginal massage pelvic mapping, non-sexual massage of the fascia and musculature of the vaginal walls to address adhesions and areas of numbness and/or pain.

Follow-up sessions are shorter than the initial session and last approximately 45-60 minutes. Generally speaking, clients usually benefit from 3-6 sessions, depending on your trauma history and treatment goals.
